Our airport terminal building is unique. It is a modern facility that resembles a museum. In addition to four display cases of model aircraft,  the walls are adorned with aviation related pictures.

As a personal project, Brenda Lalonde has reduced boxes of aviation magazines into a massive organized accumulation of separated articles. Specialized magazines and books have been kept intact and referenced through a database by category and subcategory. This vast library has the potential to save you money and grief, or at the very least provide entertainment and education. This has been set up with you in mind and access is free.  Of very special interest, are a small collection of magazines dating back to the late 30's. Read articles in the present tense of 70 years past.

The airport has a room with a table, chairs, couches, TV, DVD’s, CD’s, and games. This can be used for entertainment, meetings, a pilots lounge or flight planning. At times in the summer it is used by the MNR for their crew needs. When not occupied it is free for anyone to use.

In addition to the vending machines, we have a barbecue for pilots to use for a quick bite enroute, or picnic for your family, friends, clubs, or organizations. In general we provide the hardware and you bring the software. The secluded area complete with picnic tables will accommodate a significant crowd. This area is also being used by persons wishing to camp on site for the night. We also have a kitchen complete with fridge, stove, toaster, kettle and microwave also free for use by aviators.

Pilots are welcome to use the our computer for flight planning. If you have any additional needs, we will always strive to accommodate that need. Unlike larger airports, your aircraft movements and fuel sales are very important to us, and we hope you will keep that in mind.

FLY TO WHERE YOU ARE APPRECIATED.
