Member Airports Promotion
TILLSONBURG
Community Airports do not receive funding from Provincial or Federal Governments for operation and management of their facilities, yet costs are very significant. This cost is paid by the local taxpayers, generally of communities with a small tax base.
Unlike larger airports, the opportunity to generate revenues to offset costs is very limited. Profits from fuel sales help with costs, and aircraft movements are used to justify their existence.
To show our appreciation, and of course to entice you to experience our airports and the unique features of our area , we are offering yearly prizes. Simply stated, pick up our free Members Map, and at each Member airport, have that location notarized by an airport staff member. The greater the number of different participant airports you have landed at between the active dates, the greater your odds are of winning a prize. Pilots are always looking for a place to fly, and we hope you will visit us often.
Unlike some larger airports, every landing and litre of fuel, is greatly appreciated.
Experience the friendliness of our airports.
